February 16th

 Hello Confirmation Families-

Tomorrow night is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Lenten Season which will lead us to Easter on April 4th. For the next 6 or so Wednesdays we'll be having a short mid-week online Lenten worship. Traditionally confirmation students would not have class during Lent, but would be asked to come to worship. 

This year we ask that you watch those short worships together, and then have a short conversation with your kids and family on a topic brought up in worship--the end screen will prompt you. Nothing is required to be turned in, we just hope you have faithful conversations at home. We may change our plan as we go, but for now this is what we'll do.

Tomorrow we will have an in person walk-through experience at church. You're invited to come anytime from 6:00-7:00 to receive communion and the imposition of ashes for Ash Wednesday. There will also be a short video worship you can watch from home.

 Hello Confirmation Families!

Sorry for not getting an email out yesterday. Anyway, tonight is mentor night! The discussion guide is available on our website and app, or by clicking here. 

Next week is Ash Wednesday. We are considering having the kids come in throughout Lent. In the past we encouraged families to attend our mid-week Lenten worships together, but those will be virtual this year. Anyway, we will be in touch on our plans for confirmation during that time.

Hello Confirmation Families! Tomorrow night we are planning to meet IN PERSON in the Fellowship Hall from 6:00-6:45ish. Yay! Of course, if you choose to have confirmation at home we will have the lesson posted online as usual.  9th grade families: you should have received an email from Pr. Tim last week; please respond if you haven't done so already. Next week is mentor night again, so please get in touch with your mentors to plan a safe meeting.
