Hello Confirmation Families! Congratulations to our 9th grade youth who were confirmed on Sunday! If you missed the service, you can watch the whole worship here, OR watch just the sermons/faith statements here. 9th grade families: look for a separate email regarding photos.  We're going to Feed My Starving Children in Coon Rapids, MN THIS SATURDAY, Nov. 2nd! Read more about it & sign up in the "Upcoming Events" below, or on the church app. Other things: Youth Christmas Handbells: The kids will have the opportunity to learn and play handbells for the Sunday School Christmas program on Dec. 15th. We'll begin rehearsals on Wed., Nov. 13th at 5:00. Let me know if your child is interested! Kids must be able to understand/read rhythm/counting on sheet music and be able to attend rehearsals on Wednesday nights before and a little after Confirmation. Rehearsals: Wednesdays Nov. 13 & 20, Dec. 4 & 11, and Saturday Dec. 14, 9-11am. Friday Night Party Help: We'll be having another Friday night party on Nov. 15th and I need older youth to help out. Sign up here or on your app. Drivers Needed Nov. 6th for FUEL Turkey Trot: Our annual door to door event for the Amery Food Pantry is coming up and we need parent and/or mentor drivers to help out. Please let me know if you can be there. Lastly, if you're trick-or-treating in Amery, stop by at Liz's house! She lives on Tower street across from the Village Pizzeria; look for a white house with a lantern by the road! Have a great week! We'll be going door-to-door to collect donations for the Amery Food Pantry. Let me know if you're able! Bring plastic or paper bags to collect donations in 8:00-9:30 High League for 8th & up Feed My Starving Children November 2nd | 9:30-2:45 | 11:00-12:30 shift Join your church family as we volunteer at Feed My Starving Children in Coon Rapids, MN! Grab a friend, invite a neighbor, and sign up today! We hope to send a group of 25. You must be able to stand for 2 hours. Minimum age is 5; an adult must accompany kids in grades K-2. Thanksgiving Party! November 15th | 5:30-7:30 1st-5th graders are welcome to come to our second Friday Night Party of the year, and older youth are welcome to come help! We'll have a thanksgiving feast (of sorts), talk about thankfulness, and play some games, too!  Don't forget to invite friends! Hello Confirmation Families! Tomorrow night is our first Mentor Night of the school year; please remind your mentors to come! **9th graders: no need to invite your mentor; we'll be working on your sermons and getting ready for Sunday. We'll also be meeting until about 9:00. Our 9th graders will be confirmed on Sunday! Please come to worship and listen to their sermons and remember their baptisms. It's a special day! We will NOT be having regular class after worship; enjoy the fellowship time. Thanks for all who helped out with the Sunday School Reformation Party last Friday!  Also, thanks to all who participated in the Hurricane Hike for the Bahamas on Sunday!
