Hello Confirmation Families! Last week at FUEL we had a informative and fun night! We watched an episode of a Netflix docu-series, "Broken", called "The Big Vape". It's worth a watch if you have a spare hour. It dug into vaping risks, nicotine addiction, and marketing, and featured teens who currently vape and their perspectives (don't start!). Here's an article on the episode. This Wednesday we begin the Lenten Season with our 7:00 Ash Wednesday Worship. During Lent we will not have regular Confirmation classes on Wednesday, but will continue to meet most Sundays (we will NOT meet this coming Sunday, the 1st). However, we will still take attendance.  We have another Sunday School party coming up March 13th, and we'll again need youth helpers. These parties are a lot of fun, even for helpers! Friday, March 13th | 5:30-8:00 Wait, didn't we just have a party? Oh well, is there ever enough?? From 5:30-8:00 we will get together for a Sham-rockin' good time! K-5th grade youth are welcome to come to come, and we need older youth helpers, too! We'll learn a bit about St. Patrick and the Christian roots of St. Paddy's Day! We'll eat dinner, learn, and party! Don't forget to invite friends! Sign up here or on the app by March 6th. Minimum attendees: 10. Free will offering. Lenten Suppers--Youth Serve Wednesdays March 11th & 25th | 6:00 (5:15 prep) Youth will serve two lenten suppers coming up. Please arrive around 5:15 to help set up, prep, and serve. Hello Confirmation Families! I hope you all get this email on time this week! We have been having email woes on this end. I'll always have the weekly update available on our  church app and website, so if you're ever looking for info please check there. Tomorrow night is FUEL at Deronda Lutheran Church from 6:00-8:00. Dinner will be provided; bring $5 if you're able.  This next Sunday we have a special worship planned--CAMP SUNDAY! We'll be singing some classic camp songs, hear from our youth who have gone to camp in the past, and hear a message from Quinn Stone, Luther Point's Program Director. We hope to see lots of kids at worship! It'd be great if kids and families could sit up front this Sunday. Thanks to the kids who helped out with the Pajama Party last Friday; we had a great time!
