Tomorrow, Wednesday (5/31/2023), SERVICE NIGHT at 6pm. We will be painting stripes the parking lot and having ice cream floats.  Wear old clothes.

Monday at 6:30 Youth/Family Free Movie Night @ Amery Theater: Disney's "Encanto"

July 9- Youth/Family Twins Game. Leave Congo parking lot at 11:15. Please sign up in our office and bring $10 by June 11 if you want to reserve your spot.

This form helps Abby & Anjanette calculate the number of students attending. If you know you have a lot of students wanting to attend from your congregation I'd also recommend trying to find one or two adult volunteers to drive/chaperone to help us run this summer programming smoothly!

 Tonight is a Mentor Night!

Next week, May 17th,  we will have a service night.   Please come prepared to work and dress in clothes you don't mind getting paint on.

The following week, the 24th will be a fun night with events to be determined (This means Pastor Tim has a plan but Steve Osero doesn't know that that is at the time of this writing).

 Dear Church Families,

 

This Sunday we are going to watch the movie "The Prince of Egypt" downstairs in the youth room with the confirmands.

We will start the movie at 10am and it will be done around 11:30. We will have popcorn and lemonade.

 

The following Sunday is Palm Sunday, April 2.  We will be serving egg-bakes, pancakes and fruit at 10am for a campership fundraiser.

WHO CAN WORK SET UP? 8am to 9:30?

 

WHO CAN WORK CLEAN UP? 10 to 11:30pm?

 

DON'T FORGET TO SIGN UP FOR CAMP AT WAPO OR LUTHER POINT.  

Our church will help with the costs from the campership fund. If you need more financial help to make camp happen, please let us know.

 

Diane Amans will help with a craft for Sunday School on Palm Sunday. Thanks Diane!

 

After worship on April 9, we will have a short Easter Egg Hunt for our kids at church.

On Wednesday, for the 7th and 8th Graders, we also passed out confirmation worship/sermon notes, and faith and servant forms that have been turned in.

Please pick yours up next week if you missed it.

 

Over the 3 years, we expect:

15 Service Forms

15 Faith Forms

Attendance on Wednesdays= 40, Sunday School= 35

 

Please fill out the forms as you are able and make sure you can come to church on Wednesdays and Sundays as much as you can.

If you cannot worship here, please worship elsewhere or online.

Update: December 9 2022

 

Greetings from First Lutheran Church,

Next Wednesday, we are having a concert at church at 6pm.

J.E. Sunde grew up in Amery and spent a lot of time at Camp Wapo, where his parents worked.

We hope to welcome anyone in our community, those who go to church and those who do not have a faith community.

Some of our church members heard his concert in the cities this summer and we appreciated his music and lyrics.

 We have lots of events scheduled for this Wednesday night, November 30.

1.  Men in Mission will serve a free spaghetti dinner from 5-6pm.  

    Contact office with a head count. (715) 268-7135 or office@flcamery.org  

    We want kids, parents, and confirmands to join us for dinner.

2.  5pm Handbell Practice

3.  6pm Sunday School kids will practice for the Christmas Program

4.  Confirmands and adults can help decorate our church for Christmas
